His tail quivered (with passion - ?). Peace seems to be reigning supreme in the court now. No signs of aggression by V10 or V9. Legs on V8 are sure getting bright yellow, same goes for V10. Legs on V7 and V6 still seem to be green, can't see legs on V4/V5. V4/V5 seems to be very broody about this whole nest business today. He is not showing aggression against other birds preening within 5 or 6 feet of the nest. Seems concerned about nothing but the nest. Just now V5 moved over towards V6, V6 bowed but V5 pecked V6 instead of nibbling - V1G moved. V7 just chased on ate an insect. V8 just chased and pecked P10 a couple of times - walked close to V4/V5 with no effect, ignored V4/V5 on the nest three feet away, went over to feed on greens with two other birds. V6 just picked one cat-tail leaf up from beside the nest and carried it over to the corner. V4/V5, this on the nest made no attempt to interfere, but merely got up and tugged on another cat- tail just outside of the nest. Now in the water, V7 giving a low "punk- ut," "punk-ut, punk-ut" as V4/V5 swam
