LG/Br, Y/LB and Xc seen to be increasingly living on the west side of the court, out of reach of V6G and WB, at least at the present time. WB chases P/O. P/O ships from and chased by Bc. These birds seem to be particularly fond of the new yellow grass trimmings put in last week. Bc/G chased P/O and Bc. XW is particularly aggressive towards LG/Br, chasing her pretty much all over the area, but XW shies away from Xc. YLG shies from V6G. Now that the lettuce is pretty nearly finished some interest is being shown in other foods. Once at picking at carrot tops, there is still some celery left, the grass is set pretty well gone, eating second, spinach and onions are apparently yet untouched. V6G/XW just in a huddle with some greens. YLG chased XW. Bc/G just gave a heated chase on the water. V6G seems to have plenty of respect for Bc/G. WB seems to also have a dislike for XW. V6G just now chased Bc/G across and out of the pool on the west side. Mar 3 Lake Merritt, Oakland, Alameda Co., Calif.- Water low with a lot of green algae along the edge.
