They remained in that position for about one minute, with VG making occasional pecks at Y/G's head. None of the other birds seemed to be concerned with these doings. Xw and LG/Bs seem to be in conflict, with Xw chasing the latter— also Xc seems to be in general disagreement with several other birds. Both BP and XR examined today. No sign of prolatin pellet left, but I believe the frontal shields on both birds are enlarged somewhat. The both were in the SS class condition when implanted, now they are both in a moderate S condition. No evident enlargement of the colored area yet. B/G—weight 437 grams, frontal shield now 6S up from 8SS in 11 days. Legs yellow-green. BG—weight 553 grams, frontal shield 3SS, legs green. Y/LB—weight 544 grams, frontal shield very large, a new class 11- being 12x15 mm. Of course the shield is -12-, 's very swollen. W8—weight 417 grams, frontal shield 23SS. Y/G, weight 540 grams, legs YG, shield 10 SS. LG/Bs, weight 466 grams, legs YG, shield 10 SS. VG—weight 557 grams, legs YG, shield 6S. Legs almost yellow on this bird. P/IO—weight 438 grams.
