PS - weight after 24 hours w/o food or water - 459 grams. 1 fluke in nasal sinuses, usual nematode ulcer in gizzard, bursa 22 mm. but pin like. Oviduct large, a section saved in Bonins. Both this and the earlier bird were very fat. A blood smear was made from 6/0 - the blood being from the cut wing stump. Ovary from PS saved in Bonins. O/LB - weight 512 grams. Bursa, gray, [illegible] 32 mm long. 2 flukes from nasal sinus. [illegible] nematode Presence or absence of nematode ulcer not definitely determined, but I think one was present. LG/0 - weight 381 grams, 1 fluke in nasal sinuses, 5 in membrane about heart, usual nematode ulcers in gizzard. Bursa pin like, 22 mm long, white and slender. ?, ovary not saved. PX-?, 4 flukes in nasal cavities, 1 in the heart region. Others with nematodes in gizzard. This bird as all three done today, was in good shape with lots of fat on it. As with all its birds from the courtyard, its gizzard was smaller than the bird fresh from Gray Lodge. Gizzard or [illegible] measured 50x35x22 mm. LB - frontal shield 7SS.
