Both O O - LB/Y & Yc have greatly swollen frontal shields these being the two birds with testosterone implants. Neither of the two Q Q show any particular enlargement of the frontal shield from estrogen implants. Both of the O O previously had flat shields of class 2 or 3. Now both of the shields are swollen larger than is normally seen in the field. LB/G - weight - 467 grams large swelling on foot foot filled with a orange liquid and a white cheese like material into Zenker. Frontal shield - 7 F, 1 fluke in nasal sinuses, legs almost YG, The bird is full breasted with quite a bit of fat on it apparently in top-top shape. Caroid gland saved in Zenker. O Bursa large, white, 35 mm long, A fairly extensive ulcerative area in this birds gizzard, apparently infected with nematodes as in the others. Section of ulcer plus a brain tissue smear put in Zenker. O/LB - weight 528 grams, knoed out by compressing air sac and then allowed to recover. Put out in courtyard to see how complete recovery is from this treatment, LG/G - F#1 weight 411 grams. legs green. Q, at least 5 flukes taken from nasal sinus, 2 from
