Weight of Y16 - 517 grams - a gain from the last time it was weighed, and nearly its normal weight. Frontal shield 455- a recent change. legs becoming Y6-no longer G - bill is closing and eyes are somewhat but not heavily flecked - still gray - brown feathers on head and neck, smaller wing coverts becoming M2 in place of earlier M1; feet have lost swelling. L610-weighed 406 grams - a gain-safety pin nearly torn out on this bird, tho both tags, with single copper wire are in good shape. Pin reattached lower on the neck. V39-weight 548 grams- lost one tag of a double copper pair. Has a big featherless knot on neck where tag is. Frontal shield 455 - under-wing coverts M2, legs green, eye pretty clear red, bursa .15 mm leg length 131 mm. The lost tag on this bird had worn thru the copper-wire by bouncing around. The wire holding the other tag is well worn in at least four places, but my clamping on the wire, I think this wear will be reduced. Apparently no great change in the frontal shield of this bird. V58-weighed 439 grams, one tag gone, pin nearly torn out of skin - will leave it tho since these tags are to be replaced with vinylite tags in the near future. X18-both tags
