Campus, Alameda Co., Cal. - have never been completely cleaned up during the course of 24 hours -- especially grain in the water remained for three or more days. But since I have started feeding them all the greens they can take, grain consumption has risen so that the two scoops put in last evening, one on land and one in the water, were completely gone by 4:45 p.m. today. No grain anywhere in the area. So I put in two cans (four scoops) this evening. About all that's left of yesterday's greens are the onions and some of the turnip tops. Dumped a half sac in this evening, mostly of lettuce leaves. Apparently their hunger for greens is finally satisfied for they are showing very little interest in feeding now. Two birds, O/B and O/G have lost 1 tag apiece. LB/G seems to have one bad leg, that is the ex-malasia test bird.
