south pair of coots seem equally at home
on either side of the pond, but the small
bird seems to spend more time in area (6)

Perhaps because of the dull day (25.)
the coots are all very quiet, not
giving usual group of co notes-
I'll check to see if this is a correlated
with light intensity.
Apr 26- same locality - 3 eggs were hatched at 9:45
a. m. the 3 young being in the nest.
They left the nest as I approached. 6
eggs still unhatched, didn't examine
to see if they were pipped or not.
