Both adults are offering tidbits to the 2 white headed young-and they accept with the usual begging pose - thanksy - B just caught a dragon fly which was taken about ten feet to be given to a wh-hded yng. - so far one pb black headed white breastid bird in not accounted for. 1:05-the bird I take to be R1 is feeding with B, working in and out from G8 to G7. 1:10 p.m. 5 mm coots feeding at F5 and several mallards are feeding at D5 -with no indication of conflict. - SIR has a asled medium gray head with a white tendency- bill is not especially light - still a ducky grayish. G5 (1:15) just jumped off a log while and at too much trial wing flapping - learning to fly? no Y yet today. 1:17 - 1 wh-hd yng at H5 while the mm fed + preened at G5-then a parent came down and chased the whole lot of mm into the cat. tails at G4-and I think went right in after them. -the parent is S.
