Tinge to the distal D3. 4/22 same locality - At 9:32 a.m. when I arrived at the lake no immatures were visible, B m-3 yng was at H20 and S was alone at G4 - after I arrived he skirted the cat-tails moving to H4 to I5+6 on down to G8 - "pukking" several times as he moved along. Finally about 9:39-5 min came out at G4 and started briefly feeding. 9:40 S is feeding at G10 - 2/5, 3/R, G, G/3, P/3, Y, 2/S are all feeding at G5- G+ P's being the last to join the crowd. 9:45 - S flew from H19 to K26 to join two yng feeding there - the yng greeted him with a "peeping" note. P/3 has joined the min feeding at G5. It looks as if the B tags are losing most of their color -- better make up another set - may catch her again when I trap the new N blood in a couple of weeks. - 11:20 P/3 is at F30-feeding - a N yng is at I26 - I tried to catch this bird but it dried as soon as it saw the boat pull out and it made good its escape - I'm afraid it's going to be hard to catch these young birds. 11:45 - B is at L21 with 3 yng - 11:53 all birds are out of sight in this north area. 12:20 P/3 is feeding at L25, 5+6, -12:27 P/3 has moved to L22 and went into the cat-tails there. 12:35- S w// yng is feeding at E4.14.
