Calif. preening a moment and then moving rapidly over to H 4 to preen, feed and beguiling at 3:38- 3:39 S is at F 5 moving to G 6 and P/B has vanished up the inlet with the rest of the immatures. 3:41-S is moving N to join its lynx which is at G 8 S is moving to E 8 and now rapidly to D 6. attached and viciously twice picked a turtle at D 6 then "pubked" twice and moved back to G-7, now moving towards G-8.19 where he is feeding. 3:45 - P/B + R/B came out of cover at H 4.19 and are moving across to G-4, feeding as they go. 3:47 P/B is out of sight at F 4 - 3:50 still no P/B - a lynx is still "inkewing" at G 9 or H 8 - S is out of sight. - 3:52 something chased P/B out from G 4/13 to G 5- where it started eating filaments- 3:53- preening and feeding, mostly feeding at F 5; 3:54- now moving in towards cover at F 4 - now 3:55 alerted with tail a little elevated at F 5.4. 3:56 now out of sight at E 4. S is feeding at F 9. 4, facing the imm- now he is "pubking" but turning back into the cat-tails - "pubked twice - at 4 p.m. P/B still out of sight at E 4 - but Y, R/B and G/F were feeding at F 4. - & noticed today that the lynx of the N brood seen today were beginning to lose the gaudy mill color- and seemed to have a dull yellowish
