Now 6 young are feeding on open water at Send- FG H 4/5.- 2:31-a 7th mm has appeared- S is at G8.7 8 [illegible] mm at now visible in the Sava 2:33- something has caused G/B and Y to splatter N a few feet- R/B at H6.8 made 2 dives of 5 sec each- G/B is busily bathing at G 5.13 (2:35)- 6 [illegible] mm feeding in a loose flock are working N to F&G 6.-they are GF, R/B G, Y, S/R+P/B- in that order-S is still at G8 w/1 yng. G3 diving for 9 sec at H5.8 2:41-and 10 sec, Y for 5 sec- S/R 5sec, S/R is now tripping to feed in the same area- Y is bathing at H4.19 and another bird was preening at H4.12. 2:47- most of the mm have drifted into the cat-tails to rest and preen only R/B at I and G/B + P/B together at F5,5 are visible. S is out of sight 2:49. Something at the Send is disturbing redwings and the coots are all moving rapidly across to I6 where they are going into cover (2:55)- S is moving N at H11, but now (2:56) has turned back momentarily to feed the yng is of course- with him--. 2:59 - 5 [illegible] mm- P/B, S/R, G/B, R/B and Y& were feeding at G8.19+22.Now G is coming out to join the crowd from H8:- 3:05 S is out of sight but 2 yng are visible at G20 - 3:06 the mm at G 8 are mostly preening now
