The immatures seem to find the area that was more or less cleared thru the Botomogaton for the wiring of the S trap to be an especially favorable place to feed. Right now six of them (11:34) are too bunched up in it - feeding and preening. G/S left the bunch to feed at H 5+6, but Y, P/B, R/B, G and S/R are bunched together at G 7, feeding and preening - 11:35 - 3 of the 5 are resting, preening etc - but not feeding. 11:36 - now 4 are still - only S/R still feeding, 11:36 - R/B is feeding again - 11:38 Y+G are becoming active feeding again - 11:39 only S/R is feeding the rest are on the alert - redwings are noisily milling around - 11:40 - all are on the alert - with heads up. 11:41 - all but P/B were feeding when a plane came over low and they all became alert and fidgety - 11:42 now rejoined by G/S they are all moving into the cat-tails at F9. 11:45 G/B just moved into F10, from? D11? - the 6 birds from G7 are now all peacefully feeding at F9. - 11:48 - two young fellows came up to the car and all the birds vanished.
