But the many variants seem only to be a series of hybrids + segregates. Where sufficiently protected from fire, Mysoreite seems to go to 4 1/2 ft or even higher (3), but in burned over areas it is only 1-1/2 ft. with an enormous rhizome system and clumps with some "walking" character,
