Field No. 1904 Date June, 18, 1924. Locality Wenchow, Chekiang Altitude 300ft Habitat Cultivated in private garden of rich soil. Habit evergreen shrub Height up to 6 ft D.B.H. Bark Bud Leaf Flower Nodding corolla creamy white highly scented sepals green or greenish convex. Fruit Stamens creamy white, tightly intricated, flo-open during the day time & close at night (so called “night close” in chinese). A rare cult- Notes ivated evergreen shrub of bushy form. los- Common Name Family Name
