Christmas Island 28 Oct COOK ISLAND: less than 15 seen flying over and sitting under lepturus clumps. 29 Oct. more upon: 2500 class C. Several pairs observed copulating, maximum of 25 eggs seen. Breeding just beginning; pairs under almost every lepturus clump and Sida bush in interior of island. 28-30Oct. 100+ seen flying over main island. Birds observed flying over "Ioles Lagoon Area".
