Mokumania Island (74) entrance and depth limits ) were Taken for 13 occupied burrows (see lending report). An average of 6 in. in diameter and 3 1/2 in. in length were obtained. Four Norway rats were seen - one was found in a nest under [illegible] these animals made trails throughout the mainland type of the island. They are well used, since no vegetation is growing in them. They were procured in several places and found to average 4 inches in width. We left the island at 1645 hrs. One dead moises. Wedgetail Shrewlets was found on Kam. Hawaii 1 3 min. N of Mokuman Island with sign. Two Sandpipers, and one wandering Tattler were seen feeding along the beach opposite Mokumania Island. One Golden Plover was seen on the island.
