RRJ (3) Moku Manu Island (6) individual is probably incapable of flight and is not expected to live. Wedge-tail Curassow here seem to be much shallower, probably due to definite lack of suitable burrowing soil and steepness of slopes making up most of island. Some use is obviously made of holes and crevices in completely rocky areas. Five Reddy Turnstones, 2 Golden Plover were seen on island. One Juca Wynaak was seen on rocky shore and Clapper saw a large (6 in.) Rat on summit. We left island at 1700 hours. Five dead Common Goldys and 2 Wedge-tails were also observed and one dead Red-footed Booby sub adult.
