A. Feathero Colorado R., 1/2 mi. N. Nevada - Calif. monument, Clark Co., Nev. 35. Jan. 30, 1934. I cooked breakfast and cleaned the dishes. My traps were all visited without obtaining any specimens. I then put up the skin of Oreoxytes montanus. I took eleven steel traps across the slough, and set them in the willow association on the island east of camp. Bacon rind and Dipodomys were used as bait. During my walk, I saw Procyon tracks, Canis latrans tracks, Mephitis tracks and the tracks of Lynx rufus. Birds seen were: Approx. 20 robins, one sparrow hawk, approx. 12 coots, 5 flickers, 1 blue heron, 5 pp pipits and several unrecogn-ized birds. I heard a horned owl hoot at 3:30 P.M. in the willow association. When I returned to camp, I found that Dr. Hall and Oss had arrived. I cooked dinner, did not wash the dishes and wrote my notes. Jan. 31, 1934. I cooked breakfast and washed and wiped the dishes. Then I visited all my traps across the slough in the willow association. Results were negative.
