Six cowbirds were seen, of which I shot one. Dr.Hall shot a horned lark. In the evening, I shot two Myotis at the edge of the cottonwoods. The cowbird was put up in the evening. July 20. Welcomed to a point on Lincoln Highway just inside Lander Co., east of Carroll Summit, for an overnight stop. July 21. Smiths Creek, 7700 ft., Lander Co., Nev. Camp was made at above location at noon. July 22. No specimens. I set a setting for coyote, as numerous tracks had been seen near camp. July 23. Smiths Creek, 5800 ft., Lander Co., Nev. No results from my coyote trap. I shot a Callospermophilus for Dr.Hall. We moved to the above location, at which we arrived at 2:00 P.M. July 24. I shot two Myotis volans at camp. July 25. The two Myotis were put up in the morning.
