Feathers. 1934. 2 mi. 5' N Pine Grove, Mineral Co., Nev. 7250 ft. June 28. In the evening, about 7:00 P.M., I shot a night-hawk. Two reproductive tracts were taken on the 27th and seven on the 28th of June. June 29. I secured one gopher from my three sets. I put up the gopher and the night-hawk. Later in the day, Johnson and I set two traps at the entrance to a badgerden. Night-hawks flew up the canyon at 6:30 P.M. There were approximately ten in the flock. They flew back down the canyon at 7:30 P.M. June 30. My coyote traps were visited without result. I took them to camp. I shot a Cassin finch from a piñon pine, and put up the skin in the afternoon. We prepared to leave camp. July 1. 4600 ft., 12 mi. S Yerington, W Walker R., Lyon Co., Nevada. We arrived at the above location just before noon. Camp was made. Raccoon tracks were seen at the edge of the river + along ditches. Skunk tracks and mole workings were also seen. I set four traps for skunks or soon.
