Feathers. 1934. 100 ft., ½ mi. S Ft. Bragg, Mendocino Co, Calif. May 30, 1934. In the morning we packed, cleaned the cabin and prepared to leave for home. We left Ft. Bragg at near 9:00 A.M., had lunch in Willits at 12:30 P.M. En route several birds were noted (Warbling vireo, wren-tit, pileolated warbler, and nutt-backed thrush) and a brush rabbit was seen. Specimens of trees and shrubs were taken for later identification. The trip from Willits to Berkeley was without unusual incident. I arrived home at 6:30 P.M.
