Feathers. 1934. 100 ft. 1/2 mi. S H. Bragg Mendocino Co., Calif. May 27, 1934. ( cont.) After lunch, we returned to our gopher sets. I took ~~two~~ gophers from my traps. All traps were taken from that locality and re-set on the property of the Union Lumber Co., west of town. I made 14 sets. We returned to camp and had dinner. Boys brought in two gophers, taken from nearby lots. I put up three ~~gopher~~ skins in the evening. May 28, 1934. Our traps were visited the first thing in the morning. Two traps from one of my sets had disappeared. From the remaining 13 sets, I took 12 gophers. I made two fresh sets and left one of the old ones out. We returned to camp, where I put up five gopher skins. After lunch, we returned to the traps. I had caught one more gopher. Three sets. Two old sets were ~~left~~ out and two new ones made. The afternoon and evening was spent shinning and caring for skulls, etc. I put up seven skins I'dd caught in the morning. Boys brought in a ~~gopher~~ from nearby. I shinned and put up two more ~~gophers.~~
