F's and imms, with: **King Eider - Somateria spectabilis - at least 2 full Ms, 2 imm. males andF and imms. of 3612 both Kings and Commons totalling about 22-25 individuals. Carl Carlson saw too. Red-breasted Mergansers - at least 1 pair. White-wing Scoter - 1 F or imm. Bonaparte Gull - 25-40, mostly in ocean off end of jetties. Sanderling - 1 on beach behind motel. Apr. 3, 1971, Indian River Inlet, Delaware 4:50-5:15 p.m. EST. Common Scoter - 1 3613 Common Merganser - 1 ad M Purple Sandpiper - 30& at end of jetties.
