Turkey Vulture - 7 over to E at 6p.m.
Band-tailed Pigeons - 6 or 7
Elf Owl in telephone poles beside and in front of Madera Lodge, acalling at 730p.m.-2 of them.
Whiskered Owl - Otus trichopsis - LIFER - first one obtained by aid of recorded call on tape.
responded to 2nd playing. Stayed nearby in dark, good look 3 x with flash lantern.
Broad-tailed Hummer - carrying nesting material in oak belt.
Rivoli Hummer F at the lodge.
Broad-billed Hummer M & F at lodge.
