N winds strong, seas high, cool with wind colder in plm., shifting from W to NW. In harbor area: 100's of Cormorants to N - had gone south Saturday (4/26) evening. Oystercatchers Forster, Common and least, and Royal Terns. Herring, Bonaparte, Laughing and Ring-billed Gulls C. Loons, C. Mergansers Willet's and Grackles At sea: Gannets most common and in at least 4 different plumage stages. Wilson Petrel - 3 individuals Surf and Common Scoters flights to N Black-back and Herring Gulls - 12's Turnstones and Phalaropes and one Parasitic Jaeger (more like a Skua to me).
