2. START EXACTLY ONE-HALF HOUR BEFORE SUNRISE. It is important that
the route be started on time.
3. Routes should be completed as close to 4 - 4 1/2 hours as possible.
4. Each stop should be for 3 minutes.
5. Count individuals of each species seen within 1/4 mile or heard
from any distance.
6. Give temperature (Fahrenheit) at start and finish of Survey.
7. Give wind speed in Beaufort Scale not in miles per hour.
8. Give sky conditions using Weather Bureau code numbers.
9. Give time at Start and Finish of route. Please use DAYLIGHT TIME.
10. Print name and circle title. Married women please use own initials.
11. Please print or write address clearly.
12. STOPS PER SPEC. Enter the total number of stops, out of 50, at
which the species was recorded.
13. Write in any species not listed on form.
