*Most recorders started at their posts at 4 p.m. with flights stopping by 5:15.
Several thousand birds, mostly cowbirds and starlings, came to the roost prior
to the count starting time. For example, Line 4 reported 20 starlings
and 465 cowbirds before then.
#This line did not separate starlings and cowbirds. Compiler separated on an
"example" pro-rata basis 7,305 birds into 2,300 starlings and 5,005 cowbirds.
