***Kirtland Warbler - Dendroica kirtlandi*** 1 pr. plus 3 or 4 singing males.
watched M "butterfly" to ground. M&F fed in jack pine in lower level branches. M also sang there, but most persistent and time and again from highest dead or living parches in area. Usually close to open, brushless area of ground. M came 100' to my squeeks and to chase another bird (F or other sp.-probably goldfinch/or chip. sp.)

6-10 rows of trees w/ branches touching, open space of equal width. All about same height. Crooked and straight rows.
Yellow-shafted Flicker
Kirtland Warbler - although more uniform height pines here (5-8'), singing mainly came from few higher, dead or alive. No F seen for sure.
