Barely moved out of way of mower & tractor.I walked, I flew briefly, flashing white under wings. Both later flew to bare ground with killdeer & gold.plover, but walked back immediately onto the close-mowed turf. Later all flew away together. Lighter breasts than in 2 field guides.
