Many on nests, and one egg wis-ible with bird standing beside it. Common Egret - 12-15 Snowy Egrets - 45-50 - breeding plumes plainly visible. Vultures - many overhead Redtailed Hawk - several pair Osprey - in p.m. one Blew over ranch from Lagoon, carrying fish, & chased by gull. Sparrow Hawk - 2 Lesser Scaup - 12's Canvasback - 6M and 5F or imm. Common Golden-eyes - ratio 1 ad. male per 5 F or imm. - 25-30 total Bufflehead - 1 ad. male to 3 F or imm. ratio - about 40 seen.
