Sept. 24, 1961, High Meadows-Star Lake Road, SE of Bijou, Eldorado Co. Calif. 5-6 p.m.PBT. Robins very abundant all along the road at the higher elevations. Swainson Thrush - calling clear and loud at dusk on high meadow ridge. (Spotted Towhee - 1 male seen in chaparral at Rubicon Estates on W side of Lake).
