7200'-8600' el. Weather clear and warm, windy, cold at night.
American Merganser - F and 9 ½-grown young residing on Stony Ridge Lake. Because of activity about lake, they were seen at various places about the lake during the 3 days we were there. At night they all roosted on a small rock about 50 ft. offshore
Red-tailed Hawk - 1 imm.

Rufous Hummingbird - most common - about a wide variety of flowers from Senecio to Columbine

Pileated Woodpecker - 1 seen, and lots of fairly fresh workings seen.
