Mockingbirds Robins Ruby-crowned Kinglets Cedar Waxwings White-eyed VIREO - in trees behind bear cages. Myrtle Warbler Wilson's Warbler - 1 full male seen behind bear cages. Boat-tailed Grackle - have thumping noise made with wings, too. Cowbirds Cardinals White-throated Sparrows Feb. 19, 1953, Chalmette National Historical Park, Orleans Parish, Louisiana. 11:45-12:30 p.m. CST. Sparrow Hawk Killdeer Blue Jay Eastern Crow Fish Crow Carolina Chickadee Tufted Titmouse Brown Breerer Carolina Wren - 2 in arbor near bldg. Mockingbirds Robins Ruby-crowned Kinglets Golden-crowned Kinglets. Starlings Prairie Warbler - olivish head and back, with yellow on face, yellow throat, lighter below, very faint wing bars. Probably an immature. Faint side stripes. Myrtle Warbler E. Meadowlark Cardinals Slate-colored Juncos White-throated Sparrows. Feb. 19, 1953 - Lake Ponchartrain Drive, Orleans Parish, Louisiana. N. Orleans Airport west to City Park - 1315-1500 CST. Pied-billed Grebe Double-crested Cormorant Brown Pelican Blue Heron Common Egret Lesser Scaups on wavy lake waters Red-shouldered Hawk - along W side of Burma Road. Coot - 50& Killdeer Ringbilled Gull Herring Gull Mourning Dove THALASSEUS MAXIMUS Royal Tern -- full winter plumage - perched on top of post over water.
