Turkey Vultures Red-tailed Hawks Starlings - 125-150 in one flock Shrike Purple Grackles - 3,000& in oak woodland, on ground, but would flush to trees. Bronze Grackles - few in with the Commons. White-throated Sparrows - seen definitely and several times. Feb. 15, 1953, Along U. S. 80 in Webster Parish, including Minden, Louisiana. 19 road miles. Turkely Vulture Red-bellied woodpecker Carolina Chickadees Eastern Bluebirds Shrike Myrtle Warbler Feb. 15, 1953, Arcadia, Bienville Parish, Lousiana. 3 p.m. CST. Marsh Hawk Yellow-headed Blackbird - 2 males flew over. Brown-headed cowbirds - 25-30 in top of leafless, tall tree. Feb. 15, 1953, U. S. 80 in Lincoln Parish, including Ruston, Louisiana. 3-4:20 p.m. CST. 30 road miles.
