California Woodpecker White-headed Woodpecker Western Flycatcher Little Flycatcher Blue-fronted Stellar Jays - bluffed robins and black-headed grosbeaks at Mountain Chickadees food stands. Red-breasted Nuthatch Sierra Brown Creeper Dipper Robin Yellow Warbler MacGillivray's Warbler Yellowthroat Red-wing Brewer Blackbird Black-headed Grosbeaks - pairs everywhere - in pine-incense cedar, mostly. Western Tanagers - several seen and others heard. Pine Siskin flocks working oaks and maples Oregon Juncos In addition, the following new species were seen 5-20-51 Red-shafted Flicker, Pileated Woodpecker, Nuttall Woodpecker, Brown Cowbird and Chipping Sparrow May 19, 1951, Sentinel Dome-Glacier Point area, Yosemite Nat. Park, Mariposa Co. Calif. 1030-1330 PDS T. 7200-8200' elev. White-throated Swifts - Glacier Point, and on Sentinel Dome White-headed Woodpecker Olive-sided Flycatcher Violet-green Swallows Blue-fronted Stellar Jays Mountain Chickadees California Creeper Robins Western Tanagers Cassin Purple Finches Oregon Junco on wind-swept Sentinel Dome at 8,100' May 26, 1951, Sierraville, Sierra Co. to Blairsden, Plumas Co.
