Balapates - few Pintails - 100's Lesser Scaups - dozens Red-tailed Hawk Coots - 100's in pools in flooded fields Ring-billed Gulls Yellow-billed Magpies Brewer Blackbirds Jan. 30, 1951, Manteca to near Vernalis, S. Joaquin Co. Calif. 0910-0.35 PST. Pied-billed Grebes Yellow-billed Magpies - adults and nest 2-3 miles Mallards south of Manteca, and 3 mi. E of San Pintails Joaquin R. in this area. In white oaks.
