Adults and nearly-grown young were abundant. Western Kingbirds - 2 Black Phoebe Ash-throated Flycatchers - 3 seen (1st of year to me). April 1950. Cliff S wallows - 200-225 nesting in recently completed outlet culvert/for the Rock Cree end of Farmington Dam. Western Kingbirds - 12 Horned Larks - dozens on grassed hills around the reservoir. Some very tame. Barn Swallows - 10 Cliff Swallows California S hrike - 10 Western Meadowlark California Redwings - many adults and flying young over every tule area this a.m. Bullock Oriole - F Brewer Blackbirds - many adults and flying young over the countryside.
