Sparrow Hawk Red-shafted Flickers Robin Varied Thrush - Lots along road. Picked up 6 dead ones which had been hit by cars. All gizzards of these birds contained poison oak berries. Made skin out of one. Audubon Warbler - Picked up 2 dead ones. Will try to make skins out of them if not spoiled. Havn't checked gizzards yet. Other Audubon Warblers along fence rows. First Audubon war-b lrs I have seen for some time. Dead ones too far gone for skins. gizzards of both full of Poison Oak berries. English Sparrow - Feeding in farmyard along with all the remainder of this list. The birds were being artificially fed. All un der one tree. Western Meadowlark House Finch White-crowned Sparrow Golden-crowned Sparrow - Also picked up one dead one. Unlike the varied thrushes, this bird was fat. Gizzards contained weed seeds and grass. Ore. Juncos - One picked up dead on highway. Gizzard had seeds and what looked like cracked corn.
