Water level up a little from last time. Upper end and
coves and edges sometimes iced over. Clear & cold.

Roadrunner - on hiway just west of reservoir at 1140 a.m. Flew off road
and across the fence and then leisurely moved away from us, across
sparse grassland in rolling hill country of scattered blue oaks
and buckbrush - there were no color patches on its face.
