1130-1300 Clear, calm, and cold. Water level about as before.
Flow below the dam is about 25 sec-ft., and at Jenny Lind - 65s-f.
Pied-billed Grebe - 2 Bear Cr. - 1 sec-ft.
Farallon Cormorant - 25 - 1 disgorged a 4 1/2" yellow perch (Perca flavescer
as it flew over us. They perched on the snags in the reservoir.

Swainson Hawk
Golden Eagle- 1 immature perched in cottonwood snag near E arm of
reservoir - had light patches on cheeks. Within 200 yards of
it I found where a white-breasted CanadaGoose had been taken,
with some wing and many gobs of breast feathers scattered around.

Red-shafted Flicker - 10-12
Lewis Woodpecker - 1
California Woodpecker - took pics of white and blue acorn (main blue)
storage in white oak and fence posts. The acorns were stored
tips in and butts out.
