Pond areas have been cleared and plowed, and disced and burned this summer, and just this week they started flooding some of the ponds. Birds ! N 39° 0' 21" " and Long. W 121° 44' " (R 2 E, T 17 N, Sec 3-4 MDB&M). There were about 250 of both species in the oak grove north of Cameron Road at this point. Empty nests could be seen from the road, 1/4-mile away!
