Violet-green Swallows Cliff Swallows Coast Stellar Jay Interior California Jay Yellow-billed Magpies W. Crows Bailey Mountain Chickadee - 2 seen in myrtle-oak woodland Calif. Plain Titmouse Intermediate Wren-tit W. House Wren San/Diego Vigors Bewick Wren N. Rock Wrens - on rock wall and outcrops Western Mockingbirds California Thrasher - sounded like Mockingbird. Russet-backed Thrush Western Bluebirds - nest in elderberry Hutton Vireo Cassin Vireo Warbling Vireo Yellow Warbler Townsend's Warbler - 6& in live oaks. One was streaked below, but with no black throat. Olive-green color body and yellow throat and chest, but cusky band lower down. Pileolated Warbler W. Meadowlarks common. One nest had 6 eggs. Bullocks Orioles around Ranch House. Noisy Brewer Blackbirds Western Tanagers common Black-headed Grosbeaks Calif. Purple Finches House Finches Common Goldfinches Green-backed Goldfinches San Francisco Spotted Towhee San Francisco Brown Towhees Calif. Rufous-crowned Sparrow - gave teetering calls - on rock wall of open hillsides. Black whisker (yellow wash below.). W. Lark Sparrow Point Pinos Oregon Junco - adults and young on NE and N slopes, well-shaded.
