Sora Rail - by call, a sharp "keek" as described in Peterson. Wilson's Snipe - over two-hundred in a 400 ft. sq. area in the north field. This portion still with an inch or two or water in most places. Flew off in several large flocks, gyrating about in the fashion of sanopiers. Greater Yellowlegs - wading belly-deep on the north end of the swamp - 30 Violet-green Swallows Tree swallows Crows - on west side of Muddy Cr. infieldss Oregon Chickadee - mating calls Seattle Wren - 1 singing Tule Wrens Robin - 1 Golden-crowned Kinglets - a few in ashes along Muddy Creek Pits small flock in north field. Lutescent Warbler - saw 3 Audubon's Warbler - 3 singing Yellow-throat - 1 seen and 1 heard singing Western Meadowlark NW Redwings - males singing in swamp - flock of 30 in oak tree. W. Evening Grosbeak - a few calling along Muddy Cr. Pine Siskins - a few calling along Muddy Cr. Savannah Sparrow - 8 in north field Gambel's white-crowned Sparrows - several with flesh-colored bills. Golden-crowned Sparrow - 3 Rusty Song Sparrow. Made a circuit of the north end, down Muddy Cr., around the north field and up the east side. Marshall and McAllister.
