Two parties - T.H. McAllister and D.B. Marshall seperate. Area covered - McAllister went to north field and Marshall to south ponds. No ducks south of road. Canada Goose - McAllister saw 7,000 in north field. Marshall heard roar of them taking off the water from far south end of swamp. Was loud even from there. No cacklers. White-fronted Goose - one north field. Snow Goose - one also north field. Mallard - 300 pairs, paired up. Mostly north field. Baldpate - 2 north pond. Pintail - 100 Green-winged Teal - 200 mostly north field. Shoveller - eight pair north field. Ruddy Duck - one north pond. Ring-necked Pheasant - 4 cocks. Coot - 200 Killdeer - 12 north field. Wilson's Snipe - 6 north field. Flicker - one. Oregon Chickadee - small flock in ash south side. Tule Wren - one singing. Robin - small fock of about 15 along fence row east side main pond. Audubon Warbler - Flock in ash as always. Western Meadowlark - one singing. Red-wing - Tom saw two. Song Sparrow - Tom saw 8 and Marshall 3. ONE MILE SOUTHWEST OF MCFADDEN'S SWAMP. Whistling Swan - two immatures and 3 adults in field west of Muddy Cr. and just south of [illegible] the next road south of the swamp.
