Apparent- ly the first lone geese which circled the area sq cautious- ly acted as scouts. Mallard - 400, the most wary bird, the least movement in theblind Pintail - 40 alerted them. Baldpate - flock of 50 came in at dusk Green-winged Teal - two flocks of 20 Red-winged Blackbirds - small flocks came in at evening headed for the area around the cabin.
