Green Heron Vultures common - feeding on gray digger Little Flycatcher Crow Oregon Chickadees Seattle Wren Robin Macgillivray Warbler Black-headed Grosbeaks common in deciduous trees near river. Lazuli Bunting Purple Finch July 25, 1948, South Umpqua R at Myrtle Creek, 1/50-1/30, 50 Sctd. 80°F. Green Heron adult Spotted Sandpiper - orange-yellow bill - dull yellow feet. black line through eye. Mourning Dove Little Flycatcher very dark breasted here. Warbling Vireo Yellow Warbler Western Tanager [illegible] Chaparral Habitat 3-mile above river on N side. Lowny Woodpecker Madrone and Black oak (1850-1900).
