June 13, Swamp, continued: Rough-winged Swallows - just 4 seen together, feeding over open water near bridge. Barn Swallow - quite a few pairs around, and one pair again have a nest on the wall of the cabin again, over the doorway. 4 eggs in the nest. Both adults were present when I first saw the nest. Cliff Swallows - the most common swallow present today. Raven - several flying over the area, calling, and being chased by Blackbirds, etc. Crow - several calling. Oregon Chickadee - 2 birds seen carrying caterpillars to a nest at 12' in an 8
