Pacific Kâttiwake - one dead one beach. Similar in appear-ance to a Short-billed Gull except for black wing tips and black feet. Adult.
Cape Falcon
Lesser Holboell Grebe - 4 off end of cape
Sparrow Surf Scoters - 2 large line headed north
Killets Black Oyster Catcher - 1 pr.
Avocets Black Turnstones - 5
Dowitchers - 40 or 60, all on the tidal flats.
Black-billed Plover - saw just one, about a foot long. In winter plumage.
Bonaparte Gulls - quite common, for I saw 18 or 20 riding on the water.
