It was easily approached. Saw one later in the day on offshore rocks just north of Devil's Punch Bowl. Black Oystercatcher's on the rocks below us at Boiler Bay. We took good movies of a pair. Baldpates, Bufflehead, and Black Brant seen at Yaquina Bay. Also Tree Swallows.
